MHTC continues to strengthen its healthcare tourism partnerships in Guangzhou, meeting with AirAsia China and key Chinese stakeholders. The discussions with AirAsia China focused on joint marketing efforts aimed at promoting Malaysia's comprehensive healthcare services to Chinese healthcare travellers.

In addition, MHTC met with the Consulate General of Malaysia and Tourism Malaysia in Guangzhou, gaining valuable insights into the Chinese market. MHTC also held discussions with Mr. Mohamad Haris, Trade Consul at the MATRADE Office in Guangzhou, and representatives from MAYCHAM Guangdong to strategise promotional initiatives and activation plans for healthcare tourism in the region. 

These ongoing engagements reflect Malaysia Healthcare’s commitment to fostering stronger relationships and elevating Malaysia's position as a top-of-mind destination for healthcare tourism.
