Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council (MHTC) is committed to fostering a culture of integrity and preventing bribery and corruption in all aspects of our operations. We maintain a zero-tolerance approach towards all forms of bribery and corruption and are committed to conducting our business dealings and relationships with the highest standards of integrity across all jurisdictions in which we operate.
This policy sets out our expectations for employees, directors, senior management, external parties and business associates. As a foundation for ethical conduct, we adhere to the following principles:
- MHTC staff are PROHIBITED from soliciting, accepting or offering any form of bribery.
- Comply with the provisions of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009, as well as other applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Provide reporting channels and encourage the reporting of corruption, misconduct and abuse of power through MHTC’s Whistleblowing (WB) Policy & Procedure.
- Understand, observe and comply with MHTC’s Code of Ethics and ABAC Policy in all business activities.
- Implement continuous improvement and strengthening of Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption controls within MHTC.
- Take appropriate action in accordance with applicable laws, policies, procedures, directives and guidelines in cases of breach of this Policy.
