（吉隆坡4日讯）马来西亚医疗旅游理事会（MHTC）总执行长佘琳阿里说，该组织将于今年12月10日举行2020年医疗旅游媒体奖（MTMA2020）颁奖仪式。
目前该理事会已把报名截止日期延长至今年10月15日，以让媒体拥充足的时间来报名，将近期更多有关马来西亚享誉国际的事迹记录下来。
2020年医疗旅游媒体奖由马来西亚医疗旅游理事会举办，并获Supernewsroom支持，共有10个奖项类别，每个类别都接受马来西亚及国际媒体的参与，当局也准备了总值高达8万令吉现金奖。
这场赛事将由国内外专家担任的评委队进行审查。其中评定参赛作品的标准之一，为其在社交媒体上的影响力。这标准已被证明为衡量内容素质及文章风格吸引力的一个关键指标。
医疗旅游媒体奖从2018年起开办，其宗旨在于肯定卓越且与医疗旅游相关的平面、电视、电台和网络的新闻报导。随着媒体的蓬勃发展，主办当局也新增了奖项，并预测2020年医疗旅游媒体奖将吸引更多的国际参赛作品。
参赛规格，（1）参赛作品必须于2019年7月16日至2020年10月15发布；（2）所有符合条件的作品必须在大马时间2020年10月15日下午5点前交至秘书处。
