KPJ named Malaysia's best hospital by GlobalHealth

KUALA LUMPUR: KPJ Healthcare Bhd was recently recognised as the "Best Hospital of the Year in Malaysia" for the fourth time at the GlobalHealth Asia Pacific Healthcare and Hospital Awards 2022.

The company was up against leading international brands across the region including Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia and India. 

KPJ Healthcare previously won in the same category in 2017, 2018 and 2021.

Accepting the awards on behalf of KPJ Healthcare at the ceremony in Bangkok was president and managing director Datuk Mohd Shukrie Mohd Salleh.

"Being conferred the title of Best Hospital of the Year in Malaysia for the fourth time is both an honour and testament to KPJ Healthcare's commitment to delivering world-class healthcare services and end-to-end patient experience.

"Above all, this demonstrates our ambition to continuously elevate our standards through the innovative use of technology.

"This award, along with the others which we received, are a reflection of the highly capable team at KPJ Healthcare, who have demonstrated their unwavering dedication to ensure that our high standard of service is constantly adhered to, without compromising on quality and integrity," he said in a statement today.

This year, KPJ Healthcare also received numerous accolades for several of its specialist hospitals.

This included Diagnostic Imaging Centre of the Year in Asia Pacific (KPJ Johor Specialist Hospital), Oncology (Medical) Service Provider of the Year in Asia Pacific (KPJ Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital), and Women's Health and Wellness Service Provider of the Year in Asia Pacific (KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital).

The GlobalHealth Asia-Pacific Healthcare and Hospital Awards identifies leading companies in the region that demonstrate excellence in their respective industries and maintain consistently high standards in delivering quality care and services to their customers.

The assessment process entails a detailed study of all nominated companies, focusing on real-time performance indicators such as market share, revenue growth, customer acquisitions, product and service value and technology innovation.
