Malaysia makes it into top 20 of most Instagrammable places in the world

PETALING JAYA: Famed travel channel lists Malaysia in the top 20 as oneof the most Instagrammable places in the world among 50 countries.

The ‘Big Seven Travel’ channel, which has a social audience of 459k followers (56% Male, 44% Female; ages 18-34) ranked Malaysia at 17th place as one the of the most photogenic countries in the world.

The channel showcases socially-shared photography and videos of the most exciting places globally. 

According to the channel, the scoring system is based on the number of hashtags per destination, survey results of Big Seven Media readers and votes cast by a panel of travel experts. 

Other countries who made the list include neighbouring countries such as Indonesia in 4th place, Singapore in 10th place and Thailand in 14th place with Japan coming in 15th. 

Proudly, Malaysia even made the list ahead of countries with many scenic views such as Greece, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland. 

Big Seven Travel also further details the 7 Most Instagrammable spots as the most photogenic in Malaysia. 

These spots include the Sungai Pandan Waterfall, Putrajaya and Pulau Rawa in Johor.
