GUANGZHOU, 4 September 2025 — The Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council (MHTC) is set to participate in the China International Medical Health Expo (CMHE) 2025, taking place from 4 to 6 September 2025 at the Canton Fair Complex, Guangzhou.
Represented under the Malaysia Healthcare banner, MHTC will be opening a dedicated booth to strengthen brand visibility and raise awareness of Malaysia as a trusted global healthcare destination. This year’s participation focuses on showcasing Malaysia’s healthcare excellence and promoting the upcoming Malaysia Year of Medical Tourism (MYMT) 2026.
Organised by China International Beauty Expo (CIBE), CMHE is a premier platform that brings together international medical institutions, healthcare professionals, and specialised audiences to encourage cross-border collaboration and knowledge exchange.
Through this strategic presence, MHTC aims to engage with Chinese healthcare institutions and international medical intermediaries, while highlighting Malaysia’s medical tourism advantages, positioning the nation as a preferred choice for premier treatment and wellness.
This participation also serves as a precursor to Malaysia Healthcare’s involvement at the 10th Shenzhen International Tourism Expo this November, further solidifying Malaysia’s presence in China’s healthcare and tourism market.
Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council (MHTC), established in 2009 under the purview of the Ministry of Health (MOH) Malaysia, is entrusted with developing and nurturing the “Malaysia Healthcare” brand. MHTC enhances, coordinates, and promotes Malaysia’s healthcare travel industry by fostering industry collaborations and building valuable public-private partnerships both domestically and internationally. With 80 member hospitals nationwide, MHTC continues to elevate the healthcare travel ecosystem through strong branding, seamless patient experiences, and strategic market initiatives.
